Q. What can I substitute the shrimp with since I am allergic to shell-fish? or, I am a vegetarian what can I replace the non-veg with?

A. Simple answer, you can use absolutely anything with that gravy. My suggestion for vegetarians would be to go with either Potatoes or Paneer (Indian cottage cheese cubes available at Indian grocery stores) or Tofu. 

If you're allergic to fish, you could even use pan sautéed Tofu and for non-vegetarian options chicken or lamb stew would would work just as well. 

Exploring and experimenting is key with any type of cooking. Get your Chef’s hat on and get adventurous, you will be surprised how many new combinations you will discover.

Q. Are all these Recipes your creations and absolutely original?

A. Well some recipes are original (created by me) and I will mention them as we go. Some are adaptations/interpretations of existing ones with an Indian Fusion twist which will get their due diligence, of course. I have a database of recipes (literally) some my own and some collected from magazines, newspapers, online, friends, family, backs of cartons and yogurt containers :) and my biggest inspiration my MOM. 

The point I am trying to make here is that they can be from a variety of different source but they are never exactly the same. These are variations with an India twist. Hope this answers it.
